For the seminal footwear capsule The Ten, creative multi-hyphenate Virgil Abloh—designer, creative director, DJ, and founder of OFF-WHITE—reconstructed ten footwear icons across Nike, Converse and Brand Jordan. Inspired simultaneously by the creative construction and deconstruction of sneaker design, Abloh strips back the Chuck 70 to its core, reforming it with a translucent upper, a clear, ice blue rubber sole, and completing it with his own signature brand of ironic labels like “SHOELACES,” “LEFT” and “RIGHT”. Abloh’s reverence for the classic, paired with his unique creative sensibility, has produced an unexpected interpretation of the Chuck 70, presenting new perspective on sneaker design.

CHUCK 70

The Chuck 70 is a re-crafted throwback that uses modern design to celebrate the original All Star from the 1970s. Things like more cushioning and thicker rubber let you rediscover that era of classic basketball off the court. It has the look and feel of a ‘70s-era court Chuck, but without the smell.
